The people who work here are friendly and will go out of their way to help the customer, we believe in the longevity of relationships. As a company it seems to work well and because of our relationship with the directors it's rare people leave Halcyon, making life a whole lot easier as we have a lot of knowledge about our customers. To me this is a great benefit to our customers because we also retain the knowledge of the manufacturers but can deliver this information far quicker than a manufacturer can, whether this is from a customer service perspective or from a service engineer perspective. Ok, so we only have 30 people that work for the company but because we distribute four brand names (ABB Drives, Motors and Powerfactor Correction, Riello UPS, PULS Power supplies) it means our knowledge on these lines are specialist....and we are here to look after you.
In addition to these products we also build control panels which count for a third of our business, out attention to detail and quality are areas that we concentrate on when building panels ranging from simple operator consoles or starters to complex PLC controlled networked systems, for a wide variety of industrial applications. This can be done as a full turn key project, all drawings are done in CAD.
We have finally brought our company to the 21st century and have social media, you will be able to find us on Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Google+. This blog will be the first of many which I will bring to you, I'm not an engineer nor will be I ever claim to be so the information I will bring you will come straight from our clever guys here at Halcyon Drives. If you have anything you would like to know please ask away as we be delighted to help you.
For now I will sign off, thank you for reading....
